Album Info:

06 January 2007 - Asa Wright Nature Center, Trinidad. We saw this tiny treefrog on a night walk around the Center. It was identified by our local guide as Hyla boans, an uncommon species there. However it has since been identified by Dr. Morley Read as Eleutherodactylus urichi. Olympus D-550z (no scope 3X optical zoom). Flash fired. No sharpening filters.

  • This is actually almost certainly Eleutherodactylus urichi. The blue spots in the upper eye are diagnostic (so I've just been told!). I too photogrpahed two on night walks there this January. John
