From Hurricane Ledge you can see the Kingston-Rhinecliff Bridge spanning the Hudson River. We climbed Kaaterskill High Peak in three hours and after a 1/2 hour stop it took us about 2.5 hours to make the descent. The hike was about 8 miles. It certainly was a good workout.
