  • Beautiful! Glad she didn't grab up one of babies! I almost passed out while driving in NJ several years ago, near my house (in Bordentown, at the bend of the Delaware River), to have an eagle swoop in front of me, close enough to see! I later learned (when I called the state telling them of the location of the sighting) a pair of nesting eagles occupied the area and some of us even know where the nest is. I'll never tell, but it did hold up and finally stop the development of land in the area. The property was purchased by the county and will remain green space, and eagle hunting grounds! Needless to say, I'm thrilled!
