I had downloaded this one a couple of weeks ago, and it just popped up on my desktop. After our conversation, it struck me that this has a Technicolor look to it, like one of the early color movies from WW2. This is what I like about oceans: every wave seems a tsunami. The incredible crashing sound, the amounts of water tumnbling and racing all over the beach, the knowledge that if you try to swim there you will surely die (if you're not an experienced surfer.) We have a full gale at the moment here, force 9, and I am packing for Italy. Elio Pallard (pansaram) will meet me at Pisa Airport tomorrow morning and then we will first go to Lucca for a bit of sightseeing, though it's raining cats and dogs in Italy too.
