Rough pavement slithers over Emigrant Pass and down to Wildrose Campground, where I find drinking water and a few morning stragglers in camp. Wildlife continues to be exceptionally abundant at these elevations in the Park. Jackrabbits, cottontails, quail, and ravens all scatter at frequent intervals upon my wheeled approach.
