Album Info:
06 January 2007 - Asa Wright Nature Center, Trinidad http://www.asawright.org/ This is the female which looks quite different from the nearly all black males. The scientific name of this bird appears to have been based on a female. These birds were very common around the feeders at the Center. We saw them on both Trinidad and Tobago, but they were more common on Trinidad. Olympus D-550z / Nikon FieldScope 3 / 30XWA (hand-held - no adapter).
