Drowned Town of Minto old road leading under the waters of Carpenter Lake (manmade lake). Lake was made in 1940's when the river was flooded by dams to make a water resevoir for hydroelectric generation at Shalath. Minto was drowned then. Minto is close to Gold Bridge, BC.
