Album Info:

This entire area is now the southern portion of Seven Presidents Oceanfront Park. The buildings were demolished in the mid 1970s. The black and white photos were scanned from contact sheets, all that could be saved after water damage from a fire. The negatives were destroyed. This explains the dark, fuzzy, out-of-focus look on some of the b/w photos. The slides, from which this scan was done, were damaged from moisture and mold. These are a few of those same scenes in sepia.

  • Great job with the recover. The small damages actually add a lot to the picture.

  • I like this, especially the old car in the foreground. Thank you for commenting on my cedar fence. I never knew sepia could be so much fun.
