15 May 2007 - Magee Marsh Wildlife Area, Ohio Here is a male Bay-breasted Warbler. This species, along with the Blackburnian and Cape May warblers, vary in numbers annually depending on population outbreaks of Spruce Budworm in the Canadian forests where they breed. This year seems to be below average for all three species. Canon PowerShot S3 IS 12x
