Oh! I cannot believe I almost missed this! Very beautiful -- I just love how the effect of the light makes the under-side of the flower against the sky just as attractive and interesting as the flower viewed from the top. The spent seed pot is a nice addition and the angle is simply perfect! I spent the better part of today trying to get good macros of flowers, and in most instances miserably failed. But there are always a few(very few) good shots, which make me smile. This was really only my second attempt at flower macros. Well-photographed indeed. Deserving of ALL the kudos it/u can get. However, the subject is hardly suitable for most collectors and Webshots is a Public Gallerty! Would u like it on your wall in your lounge, or would you then prefer the other side of the flower? At least thats how I see it! Sorry!
