Hello Marv-Congratulations-wond erful shot! As soon as I saw it I knew it was Waimea Bay. Used to live in Hawaii when I was young. Brought back memory so completely of one Thanksgiving and getting caught in that same riptide-almost drowned-lifeguard saved me! Hi Marv, I take it you were holidaying in Hawaii! I know from experience that the waves on other shores of Oahu can have quite dangerous riptides. I survived the one that tried to eat me!
