Brings back memories of growing up in Nebraska. The cackle of the rooster pheasant taking off would always make me jump, and caused my horse to throw me off one day. We were at a full gallop and she skidded to a stop. I flew over her head and landed in the road. We had lots of phesant and quail back then. I live in Texas now, and I hunt with a camera.

Fly away as fast as you can!!!! Nice shot - with the camera that is. I was born in to a hunting/fishing family so it's a way of life here in rural central PA.
