  • to answer Tim's question: Blue Spruces are very special trees, and their needles have a silverbluish tint. Picture #39 shows the same blue spruce, that photo was taken very early in the morning, this shot here is an afternoon shot -- different light, different time of day, different weather. The sky was overcast, but the sun wanted to come out behind me. You see reflecting colors in the icicles. when thaw weather is around, the mountains look dark blue. I do not know, if you ever have seen this, but it is frequently the case. Sorry to read that you are color blind, Tim.
