In a rainy afternoon of May I did a short walk with my dad on the shore of the Jiu river and on some hills very closed to my town, Petrosani.. When we arrived near the river, the sun appeared for the first time in that cloudy day and we were so delightful to see a little snail on the ground:) Oh, but this was only the beggining.. on a distance of 50 meters, everywhere you were looking, on the path or in the grass, you could see so many snails, I think there was a whole colony:)

  • oooh, scumpa, this is one of my favorite pictures of the snails .. but then, I like the next one in the grass too, and the next one ... and ... so cute ... and so very fragile ..travelers .. carrying their "camping house" with them ... lalala lalala ... this is such a great closeup .. I love the textures in the ground and all the green and the snail in the open dirt ... love it!
