I have highlighted the Birch trail here in red on the free guide map of the park obtained from the attendant where you pay your entrance fee. There have been 2 different trail maps handed out over the years. This year I obtained one of each within four days wherein I had entered the park on two different occasions. The white one with a green maple leaf on front and green trails is easier to read than the map with photos of the Middle Falls & Glen Iris Inn on front and back showing the trails in brown on green background. But either one is very usable. Date of Hike: October 25, 2007. All photos were shot on this date unless otherwise noted in captions.
