NASA Space Shuttle Endeavour lands using balloons as parachute at the Edwards Air Force Base, California in front of U. S. Air Force Thunderbirds F-16A Fighting Falcon aircraft and members waiting for their turn to perform the breathtaking aerial stunts and maneuvers. (GOOD NEWS) Hi! Thanks so much for viewing my Space Shuttle and Military Composite Pictures album. Since so many people like the pictures in this album (it has got more than two million views), I have chosen 81 pictures and published them in a picture book. Please go to www.blurb.com and search for "Luming Marr" to preview this book. Thanks! This composite picture was created to commemorate the Disney Pixar animation motion picture Up. I watched this movie in 3D on May 29, 2009 (the very first day this movie was shown in movie theaters) in Pacific Theatres 18-plex at the Americana at Brand shopping mall and residence complex in Glendale, California. I really liked this film about a kind-hearted old man fulfills his sweetheart's childhood dream and upholds justice with the help of a broad-minded cute little boy and a smart talking dog. Balloons lift a house over the mountains in that movie and balloons replace the parachute for helping a space shuttle to land in this composite photo, both are good imagination. Picture of the balloons were taken at the balloon salesman and saleslady spot beside the carousel at South Coast Plaza, an upscale shopping mall in Costa Mesa, California in Orange County. Good job at arranging and organizing those fancy balloons. Photo credits: Picture of space shuttle is from NASA. Picture of the Edwards Air Force Base, California was taken during the Open House and Air Show 2006 featuring the U. S. Air Force Thunderbirds and U.S. Army Golden Knights. The air show boasts nearly 100 static displays with more than 20 flying performances and several hours of non-stop flying thrills celebrating Edwards long history of contribution to the U.S. Air Force and the national defense as a whole and additionally celebrating the 60th year of the founding of the NASA Dryden Flight Research Center. It would be more than double the flying and four-times the static displays of most open houses west of the Mississippi. This Photoshop composite picture was created by Luming Marr on June 21, 2009 (Father's Day). Please note the event depicted in this picture and caption did NOT really happen in the way as shown. Good photography and graphic design concept and calendar publishing idea example.
