Album Info:
Most Sagos must be at least 15 -20 years old before they are mature enough to bloom, and they also must be well established in a garden or landscape. I've never seen one bloom in a pot. How big is a 15 year old? BIG! Usually they will have an 10" - 14" (30 cm) diameter trunk and a leaf spread of 5' - 6' (2 m). Once mature they bloom only every 2-3 year. When not blooming they produce a new set of spring leaves, as usual in late spring.
