Album Info:

We were walking our dog when this coyote spotted him and decided he would make a good lunch. The coyote followed us for quite awhile. I was too busy taking photos to be afraid.

    • Now THIS is a shot of a coyote! He looks a little lean, perhaps that's why he was looking with desire at your dog! You must have been very close here! Great detail!! - Madge

    • AH HA! The potential puppy poacher! He looks quite thin and therefore dangerous. Keep that sweet doggy of your in the house! The clarity is great and the colors are rich and vibrant which can be hard to do with a scraggly Coyote. Well done! Kathy

    • Oh my goodness, your poor dog, he must have been a little nervous, I would have been terrified! You do not often spot these fellows. A great capture!

    • You even managed to get a coyote to stop & pose for ya! I'm on to you Regina Doolittle! Or are you a friend of a friend who called in a favor? Ha! just kidding This is a really nice shot! Far, far too close for comfort & safety but it was perfect for picture taking! I'm so glad your dog didn't become lunch though cuz those coyotes are quick & mean when they wanna be. But I guess that can be said about us too. ;}....Robbi

    • Good for you, if you show fear they will pounce on you. It's a great shot. They are so destructive to farm animals. You be careful, he probably didn't know what your camera was. This should be a feature!!!!!
