  • I just saw a show on the "History Channel" on the making of the Brooklyn Bridge. It showed how it was able to with stand all the traffic even at today's standard. Luckily no one was killed in the making of it and people had come from all over to work on it. Even back then this job paided a decent wage and families were able to put food on the table. The cable's used on it would equal the distance from New York to San Francisco. Congradulations New York on your 125th anniversary a stucture thats doing remarkably well for being that old.

  • A classic symmetric Gothic beauty. Well done. Congratulations on your POTD recognition. I remember making some very similar, but vertical and daytime images from the same spot 30 years ago. Always be sure to collect some vertical and horizontal images of such a scene. Perhaps you have a few vertical outtakes that you did not upload to your album.
