Tiger Swallowtail on my Butterfly Bush (August 1, 2008)

Album Info:
A couple weeks ago, I had a photo in 3PAW of my Butterfly Bush blooming, but hadn't seen any butterflies come to visit it yet. Well, they have found it and I have taken hundreds of shots trying to get one in focus. Between the butterfly never stopping for a second and the gas bubble in my eye, I'm not sure if this is in complete focus, but it's the best I could do. I hope you like it! If anyone knows what type of Tiger Swallowtail this is, please let me know. P1320498

It's good to see your Butterfly Bush is working Sharon & Bob. Wow, what a great shot. I love the detail and color in your photo. Is that what the bush is actually called Sharon? Wonderful photo and you didn't have to go to a butterfly house to get it! These are the best. Ray

Hello "Sis", as always it is gorgeous and it is good to see you are still shooting away!! I think I may try to post an album from Hawaii & the Wedding soon. I miss you all so much. But I really haven't had much time to spend on the puter! Big big Hugs, Bonnie

Perfect focus and a great capture for you. I know nothing of butterflies, but we have more here this year than for the last 4 or 5 years. Hurray!

Outstanding image Sharon; I have never seen one with a body this thick and cannot find anything like it in my guides. Your eyes must be coming along fine, this image is 'tack' sharp!

Lovely. My weird dog chewed my bushes down to the ground this past winter. Why I have no idea. You did really great with this photo. Sure would be nice if they held still more.
