ANGEL WINGS ( PLEUROCYBELLA PORRIGENS) ARE A STEMLESS CAP LATERALLY ATTACHED TO WOOD. CAPS ARE; 4-10CM (1 1/2- 4 IN) ACROSS. ANGEL WINGS CAN BE FOUND ON DECAYING CONIFER LOGS AND ARE FOUND ACROSS MOST OF NORTH AMERICA FROM SEPTEMBER-OCTOBER. ANGEL WINGS ARE EDIBLE AND APPARENTLY GOOD!
