Photos 714-727 were taken on a Catskill 3500 Club hike that climbed to the summit of Kaaterskill High Peak on Sunday, Jan. 4, 2009. This picture is of a plastic toy elephant left from the fall on a cairn along the trail which we spotted on our ascent. When I climbed this peak before Election Day this guy was in one piece. I guess with the Republican defeat he broke down.
