Album Info:
Steff Verthaimer , the founder of this complex, came to Israel on 1938 from Germany as a refugee and became a police man. Later he opend a small metal workshop, that in 60 years became a big industry complex for aircrafts parts.

Having come from Germany in '38 I can't imagine what made him want to become a policeman - I suppose I'd have had my belly full of German police and reflected that on the profession as a whole. Looks like he's better able to see things in perspective than me :-) The statue looks huge indeed - must be an awesome place to visit.
