Since this trip, I have gone on and led many trips in the White mountains but have done little backpacking. Neither of my friends have done much hiking since, but Steve joined me when I finished my Catskill 3500 peaks on Westkill. Bob hiked with me on a piece of the AT up Blood Mountain in Georgia in 1998.
