This is the first days hike of this section on the Appalachian Trail. The date is Thursday, June 21, 2007. We are following the AT (US 2 to Jct. with Moriah Brook Trail) for 7.0 miles southbound plus we end with a descent of the Moriah Brook Trail to Wild River Campground for 6 miles. Photos C-01 thru C-55 were taken on this day. This specific photo is of a moose carving in a park in Gorham at the junction of US 2 East & NH 16 South.
