Album Info:

The three branches all trailhead off the Lower Falls Road. The only trailhead with a sign is the one a couple hundred feet past the second gorge overlook on the left as you are heading down toward the Lower Falls area. The third trailhead down is very near the fork in the road where it splits to the left and the Lower Falls restaurant and right to Cabin Area B. The middle trailhead can be missed, but still has a small, old plastic diamond shaped sign with it’s number long since faded away. These were used many years ago to mark the trails in Letchworth State Park. Now, mainly yellow paint slashes on trees are the choice of marking, some with numbers on them, others not. This is the view looking back up the trail to the parking area on the Lower Falls road just beyond the second gorge overlook. Many Birch trees, which give the trail its name are located on the sides of the trail in amongst the other well established trees.
