Album Info:
(03119) 10-02-2007 Potters Marsh, Anchorage, Alaska. The trumpeter Swan has white plumage, a very long slender neck (which it tends to hold straight upwards), a straight black bill, and black facial skin which comes down in a deep V on the forehead. The immature Trumpeter Swan has a pinkish bill and dull gray-brown plumage which it retains through the spring. They eat aquatic plants and insects.
