Album Info:

Oh that I wish I had the camera that could stop action as Jorge suggest in his comments below. If you want an stop action shot try watching your flowers or feeders at dusk which they tend to stay the longest filling up for the night stupor. The flash will get some amazing shots for you.

    • Hello Sam, thank you for your many comments on my hummers. You are right, I do, and can watch them for hrs.,again right at dusk is the best time. You are lucky and have a beautiful garden for yours, I only my apt. feeders. The little one I was holding, a neighbor brought me, I don't know how it was hurt but it didn't make it, and I felt so bad, it was the 2nd one. I have had quite a few fly in the window which I quickly catch , take a few shots, kiss on the head and release....lol To actually hold something so small and precious is somewhat spiritual to me. Your shot's are just beautiful, I really enjoy looking at them as you can tell you also love them, like I do. Keep on clicking. Jan

    • Nice capture just the same. I wish I had a better camera too but it never makes it to the top of the priority list. I miss a lot of shots. Thank you for your visit and kind comments, I appreciate it.

    • What a perfect capture, Sam! I'm amazed to see the way you "stopped or froze" the hummer's wings in midair at just a 1/15-second exposure time. The hummer was probably stopping to take a turn, so you pushed the shutter button at the right time. Well done. Hope you're having a great weekend. Your friend Jorge.
