Gorge by Odin Mine
djelibeybi69 > albums > 14/3/08 - Hope Valley, Derbyshire
Album Info:
This limestone gorge is believed to have originally been carved by a stream, which was diverted along a banked ditch when Odin Mine was operational, and the stream continues along that ditch even today. As I ventured along this gorge, I was thrilled to have a rather close encounter with Britain's smallest (and my favourite) bird - a wren! Unfortunately,I didn't have my camera ready and missed an excellent opportunity.
