Boy, that Clipper is sure getting color from the flower it is on. The red is showing though creating pink wings. Great shot Sharon. And Crystal River is north of Homassassa Springs on highway 19, the deadliest highway in the U.S.

My dear friend sharon. As usuel, I"m waiting in thirst for a new photo of yours. You never disappoint me, and you came again with a team of shots that is as your tradition, just great. What shell I say to a master piece like this? I"m speachless. And by the way, the flower you shot is in my garden. At the first year he use to bloom, and I have a photo of him in the front page of one of my garden albums. But he never bloom again to my sorrow, despite all my efforts, and except talkig to him I had doen all I can do....Greetings from Israel - the Sharon district - hugs - RAN

Beautiful butterfly on Ixora inflorescence, One student asked me what is the difference between butterfly and moth. Butterfly wings remain upside close or 45 to 90 degree when sit, movement only in day time while Moth wing remain 180 degree expanded and move during night only. -Jay

Hi Sharon! This is gorgeous!!! Perfect composition. I have got to go here on my next visit to Missouri, it would have to beat chasing them down on the sides of the country roads. The red blossoms are as beautiful as the butterfly. Greetings and hugs from, OKLAHOMA. Susie

This is very appealing to the eye, not only because it's a great macro of the butterfly but because of all the different shapes.... in the wings, the flwoers, the different types of leaves. Love it.
