  • Yes Lois, I jolly well am! You ought to come out to Australia, and climb Mt. Kosiousko, in New South Wales. Son John and friend talked me into this undertaking when I was younger, and sillier, and I thought I'd die. Funny thing, 'though, didn't think twice about the height - I was so exhausted. (We cheated - went up a couple of kms by ski lift, then trudged up the mountain on a springy metal grid, that's supposed to stop us killing the mountain, trudging on trails!) It took us 4.5 hours up, and back (ran back down that springy metal grid!- otherwise we would have missed the skilift, a huge storm was breaking!) Talk about drama, but looking back, I'm not sorry we did it!hugs. Margaret.
