Album Info:

Tawny Frogmouths. Shot in suburban Townsville, north Queensland, Australia. Although related, they are not a species of our Owls. Frogmouths are more closely related to Australia's Nightjars and Oilbirds. They are experts at camouflage. This family is not trying too hard at the moment, though see next photo.

    • I'm not an expert but I think it's Podargus Strigoides (in Polish "paszczak australijski") ;) Amazing shot! Thanks a lot for sharing!
