Album Info:
if you will look in the left corner of the map, you will see the top Parangu Mic, that`s the area were I walked that Sunday. Paring Mountains are located at the South - East of the Hunedoara County, where they spread a third of their surface. Here we can see the Paringul Mare Peak - 2519 m, Carja - 2405 m, Gemanarea - 2426 m, Mandra - 2324 m, Paringul Mic - 2074 m, and to the North Capra Peak - 1927 m. The relief, developed on crystalline rocks and granodiorites is extremely complex. The wide peaks are descending gradually towards West and South, interweaving in the middle part with high alpine relief, with rocky peaks, stony plains and well expressed glacial shapes. The glacial relief has a development area under the main peak which is represented by Paringul Mare - Carja - Paringul Mic, in the Jiet basin, which has a glacial valley of over 6 km, with four complex glacial sites (Mija, Slaveiu, Rosiile and Gheresu) which shelter a few dozens of glacial lakes.

Isn't it interesting how the ancient glaciers have shaped our world? I love that you showed us the map. Thank you!
