Album Info:

The North Slide of Tripyramid Mountain is one of the most incredibly steep climbs I have ever done and to show you how crazy I am, I've done it twice! The first time was back on Wednesday, June 16, 1971. Here I am halfway up the slide. This slide goes up 1300 feet in 1/2 mile, which is an incredible 65 degree incline! To make this more incredibly difficult is that my pack weighed about 35 pounds as I made this amazing ascent up the loose talus. Just before this picture was taken my shoulder strap broke and Steve saved the day carrying a mini sewing kit with him.
