On Thursday, July 16 we were supposed to climb Mt. Jefferson but there was a good chance for thunderstorm activity. So we chose some low elevation water hikes where we could get a swim on this hot and muggy day. This first hike was a repeat of a lovely walk along the Wild River I took with my daughter back on Sept. 27, 1992. We went up the Highwater Trail to Spider Bridge and returned with the Wild River Trail. since I had no photos from this hike I am using pictures I took from that hike six years prior as substitutes. This first picture is of the Wild River Bridge on the Moriah Brook Trail.
