We reached our camp for the third evening - Adams Ranch Camp, which was about 8 more miles paddling from Rabbit Ears camp. This camp was out in the open on a flat near the river on the US side. The wind can whip up across this open plateau and there were terrible cactus thorns that I swear liked to attack me. They even pricked up thru my tent floor!
