View south from Breadloaf Mountain including Silver Hill the next climb on the AT southbound across Guinea Brook & CT 4. From here it is all downhill to the end of the hike. The total elevation gain for this hike was 3,720 feet. This is incredible considering the highest point on the hike was only 1,395 feet and the lowest point was 430 feet. This was a rollercoaster type of hike. No wonder we were tired as we approached the finish of this hike.
