Oh yeah!! I've got these in my yard... won't bloom for quie awhile yet here... the color isn't nearly as rich nor do they have as many petals. Ours are called Nootka Rose, according to my book "Plants of the Pacific Northwest Coast".... I've always just called them Sitka Rose. I've got a white one too but I don't think it's from around here... All of that to say... Do you know a more specific name for this beauty?! This gorgeously red colored, velvety beauty?! Beautifully captured too I might add!
