Album Info:
This cute little dragon was attacking his reflection he was so cute to watch. A small active dragon with an intricate reticulated or netlike pattern of dark lines over a pale grey-brown background. The head is rounded and the legs and toes are strong to enable them to run at great speeds and to dig burrows. The tail of an adult is usually around 16cm in length, the head and body about 10cm. The males and females are very similar but the former tend to develop larger a head in relation to body size as they mature.

He is in a terrarium? Very funny dragon lizard! (and have you noticed it is always the males of the species who try to attack each other or their own images?!)

Another cute and interesting little guy Sandra & Jack. I'm sure it would make a great pet too. Lizards are popular to keep in the home. Great shot. Ray

What a great capture it is. Perfect timing. On Maui we had a peacock attacking his reflection on our car. I guess it is a common behaviour of males lol.

Very effective with the mirror image in the glass. I always feel wary of lizards etc in the wild, they are a lot quicker than me and I have never heard them described as cute before Sandra :-)

Gorgeous capture! I love to watch many different sorts of birds and mammals then the see their own reflection. We had a frog in our pond that used to do the same thing on a regular basis.

Well, males really are big headed aren't they??? LOL. Especially another Aussie friend of ours. This is cute, but don't want it for a pet. I love the reflection and your comment about it.

Sandra, I have never seen one of these little fellas and he would certainly have been frustrated with himself. His eye is watching you. Kaye
