7.4 4260 4:00 PM. Looking back up The Profanity Trail on the east side of The Chin. The trail became very rocky and every so often you just can't help but yell out a couple of those words that gave the trail its namesake. From here it was all downhill back to Smugglers Notch. The total elevation for this hike was 4140 feet. This was quite a challenging hike with all the twists and turns especially on the crazy and adventurous return route.
