Sharon was happy to have our group as guests at her lodge. She served free meals for those staying at her place which satisfied our hungry appetites. The lodge was 1/2 hour away from Maidstone State Park on the New Hampshire side of the Connecticut River. Both the camping and lodge groups got together at a specified meeting time and place for the daily hike which was decided the afternoon before.
