Album Info:

(DSC05094) At the Oceanarium "Bahura" (Coral Reef): Razorfish or "Isdang Sikwan" (Aeoliscus strigatus) form schools among the spines of Diadema urchins or staghorn corals in the Indo-Pacific region, including the Philippines. They grow to a maximum length of 15 cm., and feed on tiny crustaceans in the zooplankton. They are remarkable for their strange shape and swimming habit: the body is encased in an armor of thin transparent plates; they swim in synchronized groups; each fish in a vertical position with the snout pointing downwards.
