Album Info:

15 May 2007 - Magee Marsh Wildlife Area, Ohio This fairly common species specializes in edges between fields and woodlands. I read that it was so rare in Audubon's time that he only saw it once. With the development of farms, and the logging of woodlands, this bird's population has continued to explode. No subspecies are recognized. This is a male with the chestnut brown of the sides extending down to the flanks. Canon PowerShot S3 IS 12x
