Album Info:

These 'roos were taking a short cut through the motel carpark to an adjacent farm's pasture. In the foreground appears to be an adolescent 'roo. In the middle ground is a mother 'roo with a Joey in her pouch (enlarge). Its head is close to the ground. Dad is guarding the rear (top right). The very genial motel proprietors were saying this was the first photo they had seen of the 'roos and the Kookaburras together. The motel is in probably the best location for the area. It allowed the previous shots of cockatoos, other wildlife, hills and mountains, and a huge skyfield of stars (see next album) just out the back door of the motel units.
